As I dig further into the world of Facebook, I am presented with more and more apps. I guess that we have finally found a way to make a business out of Facebook. The apps are the things that people will purchase for their phones or Facebook that add functionality and fun. Here are a couple of links to information about popular apps on Facebook. Shouldn't Facebook be charging for these apps to be present on their platform? What apps are you using? What is the most useful? What type of apps do you wish that you had? Do you have next great idea? Do you want to share it?

I think that it cool, when reading what it is about seems interesting. I think it's cool that peole can give their personal recomandations, comments on music, movies, food just about anything that they want to talk about.
ReplyDeleteI'm just about to go through and purge a bunch of Facebook apps, actually; there are some truly useless ones. The ones I like and use regularly are a bookshelf (to share what I'm reading) a profile music player (to share cool things I find to listen to) Bumper Sticker (who doesn't love a sticker?) and a couple of trivia apps for shows I'm a fan of. I signed up for some game apps a while back and that was a huge mistake; I never do anything with them and they clutter up my profile.
ReplyDeleteA few of my friends have weekly calendar apps, and I'm grateful when other people have those because they help me remember when to call/come over and when they'll be busy, but I don't use them. Not that there isn't enough information on my facebook to be dangerous- for professional reasons, I list emails, work phone and mailing address (PO Box) but I generally dislike signing up for applications and giving that information to advertisers.
